he message from the day before his last update. Emily acted just like the OP did on the day she died. Except, in the original OP message, he said, "I rang, and they said you left at 4.". Her version is this, "I rang, and they said you left at 5." Significant? Then, on his last update, he showed us a screenshot. Emily had posted a photo of his computer and chair from the outside. This freaks him out, and he decides to drive to a friends house.
I suspect Emily ed up. I think she was trying to warn OP that if he drives, he'll suffer the same fate as her. (Instead, she accidentally scared him into that fate... woops!) She posted the same messages as he did on the day she died. This time, she changes the time, and she says FREEZING. Being cold is often associated with being dead.
Look at OP's last update. He said, "Zen for now." That seems out of place. Unless it's an an anagram for "Frozen"?
Anyway, to warp it up. The thing that proves that he died, is his very last comment.
"I should be scared. I've occasionally opened a heart just ed up It's very not me she's more real to me in that state"
This is a word salad. OP did the exact same thing as Emily has been doing, but in this case, he's recycling words he already used IN THIS THREAD. Hence. Just like Emily, he's now dead.
