「親愛的教宗方濟
今天發生在香港的突發事件，我覺得你是應該受到知會的。你記得在南韓兩次跟你見面的香港青年Giovanni Pang嗎？由於警方在旺角佔領區清場，可能閣下你也聽聞過香港的「雨傘運動」，他因擔心有市民及學生被武力對付，到現場關心民眾。誰知道他在無作出任何衝擊下，被無理以襲警罪名拘捕！一位多年堅守和平理性的天主教徒，竟然被這政府非法拘留，希望你及梵蒂岡密切關注！

（Dear Pope Francis,
I'd like you to aware of an urgent situation in Hong Kong at the moment. Do you recall Giovanni Pang from Hong Kong who met you twice in South Korea earlier? As the Hong Kong Police is taking clearance action towards Mongkok occupying site of the recent Umbrella Movement, Pang forsee liklihood of violence. Worrying about the safty of students and supporters at the site, Pang goes there and try to give help to the supporters. However he is now being arrested and accused of attacking police, provided that he doesn't initiate any fight and clashes at all! This is absolutely unfair - Pang is a dedicated Catholical all these years with peace and rationality in mind. Arrest and put him under unlawful detention is definitely unfair and unacceptable. May I let you know this issue and bring it to Vatican's kind attention?
