　　2014年標達堡會議在哥本哈根的萬豪酒店(Marriott Hotel)舉行，如往常一樣，會議聚集了一些來自金融，政治和商業的，更不用說大眾媒體和精英智囊團的，這些都是世界上最有權勢的人。像往常一樣，討論的結果是完全保密的。
　　在正式議程項目包括「民主的未來和中產階級陷阱」，「中東的新架構」和當下主要的地緣政治危機：「烏克蘭」。這幾個議題都並不是那麼公關友好地被公開討論，就如一個全球化的世界秩序的演變。
　　就如標達堡資深人士的David Rockefeller在他回憶錄中所說：「有些人甚至認為我們是一個秘密陰謀集團的一部分，並不利於美國的最佳利益。他們刻畫我的家人和我是「國際主義者」，並與世界各地的人合謀建立一個更加一體化的全球政治和經濟結構－單一世界。如果這是控訴，我會站在罪的一方，並為這而驕傲。」
