Official: Poli joins Milan on co-ownership, Salamon to Sampdoria

ANDREA POLI is now officially a Rossoneri player, joining Milan on a co-ownership deal while Salamon joins Samp.

Poli has already trained with Milan and is in the retreat at Milanello at the moment with the rest of Massimiliano Allegri’s players but only this evening (Thursday), the move of the 23-year-old has been made official, Sampdoria have confirmed.

The move went official after Bartosz Salamon had agreed to join Sampdoria on a co-ownership deal as part of the Poli agreement and the Polish center back will be playing for the Marassi outfit, hoping to get playing time at Genova.

Mino Raiola, Salamon’s agent, had a meeting with Sampdoria’s director of sport Carlo Osti and the two agreed terms and the 21-year-old, who joined Milan in January from Brescia, signed the contract in via Turati today. Sampdoria have confirmed through their official website that they’ve signed Salamon. Poli cost Milan €3-4 million plus half of Salamon.

“I can’t wait to be at the Marassi stadium and play in the derby against Genoa. I’m really excited,” Salamon said. Poli was already officially presented by Milan on Monday and he admitted that wearing the Milan jersey is a dream come true.
