Epistemology is the study of knowledge. Everyone has his/her own philosophy, and he/she can choose to publicize his/her thoughts and feelings, or privatize what he/she learns. Most of the philistine choose to privatize the knowledge they acquire, and shape their philosophy into grapevine life success stories, i.e. in Chinese, 人生哲理.

To OJA STUDIES, such an act is MK (Maliciously Kidding) behavior because these philistine beings are just jerking off. They refuse to share how they learn and how they sort out the knowledge but to fabricate a heap of narratives that protect their own vested interest. If every human being is that selfish, civilization will dissipate.

It is, therefore, imperative to share our own thoughts and feelings and log them in whatever forms. This act is referred as introspection. Introspection is a common act by all decent philosophers and it is a merit advocated by Confucius:

「吾日三省吾身」

And of course, introspection is not about making a story but to polish our mind. We present our thoughts and feelings in form of discourses instead of narratives because the former is analysis while the latter is synthesis. Without analysis it is almost impossible to interpret a synthesis. Since the imbecile philistine, i.e. the mediocre in mass society, often boast themselves by making up stories with a lot of eulogistic, Confucius has made a criticism of such a deed:

「巧言令色, 鮮矣仁」

Yes, it is easy to produce an OJA STUDIES: Just write out your analysis, and avoid being arrogant by examining what your think and feel. The power of discourse by an individual may be so insignificant, but if one never makes a discourse, the society will stop growing and the mediocre people in the society will eventually up human cultures.

Everyone is unique. Since the philistine mainstream know only forcing other to conform to their own conventions (i.e. so-called norms), if one refuse to introspect, clearly he/she will consequently get lose in the ever-changing society.

Some may ask, Liberal Studies/General Education is sufficient to make a society progressive. In OJA STUDIES, that is sheer bullshit. First, such a claim reflects that the advocate is philistine for his/her failure of doing introspection. It should be made clear that the propagation of LS/GE paradigm in 21st Century world is simply a result of late capitalism where neo-liberalistic politicians and businesspersons in charge of educational systems simply wanna shirk by shifting the risk of education from the teachers to the learners, and such an irresponsible demeanor is eulogized as Globalization. It is not hard to observe that LS/GE advocates are crazy about sharing their "success stories" in Globalization, and clear cut, they are all motherers contributing to trans-generation poverty and income inequalities which are the implications of late capitalism. The society and the human civilization will eventually vanish if LS/GE paradigm continues to widespread, as we can anticipate that such a paradigm will remove the social and corporate ladders, and the poor must riot when the society does not allow them to survive under the ideology of Globalization.

Some philosophers say, if one masters the past, he/she would master future. True, it is the advantage brought by introspection. By introspection we are figuring out what ideologies we are facing and commanding, and since history is the best learning ground of all sorts of ideologies, OJA STUDIES values History which often repeats itself. Yes, OJA STUDIES embraces a lot of ideologies and you will see a lot of XXX-ism, which are the product of sorting out what we think and what we feel.

The epistemological introduction to OJA STUDIES is simple and direct then. It requires no arduous theories in institutionalized epistemology where many mediocre pundits in rotten universities are masturbating about. All we need is introspection. Introspection is the only way to individual thinking and making value judgments (feelings) right. It is absolutely stupid if people never share what they think and what they feel in critical manner.
