Earlier this month, there were reports of the imminent opening of Apple’s first retail store in Taiwan, and now the Cupertino company has updated its website to confirm that the store will be opening on July 1 at 11:00 a.m.


Located on the ground floor of the Taipei 101 shopping floor in Xinyi, Apple’s first retail store in Taiwan will feature the company’s new retail design featuring space for “Today at Apple” classes, a large retail space, and a gathering spot. With the new retail design, Apple wants to make its stores become a gathering/meeting spot much like Starbucks.
