United States President Donald Trump assured Russia that America will be intervening militarily in Syria, despite Moscow's threat of shooting down missiles targeting Syrian government forces. He went on to call the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad the "Gas Killing Animal"
"Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"
